- IUPUI Athletics Hall of Fame - 2012
Former IUPUI men’s golfer Justin Wenger (2002-07) becomes the third inductee in as many years from the men's golf program after a standout career saw him earn 2007 First Team Academic All-America honors and finish among the school's all-time leaders in rounds played (86.5) and career stroke average (76.40). His career-low round of 67 is tied for third all-time and is just one shot off the school record while his career-low 36-hole 144 is tied for 11th on IUPUI's all-time list. Wenger was a key cog on IUPUI's 2005 NCAA Tournament team, helping the Jaguars to five tournament wins that season and a .718 winning percentage. Known for his academic prowess throughout his career, Wenger was a four-time Academic All Mid-Con performer and was named among IUPUI's Top 100 Students in 2006.
The Indianapolis-native joins former teammates Adam Darrow and Drew Shafer as the three former men's golfers in the IUPUI Hall of Fame.
