About Donald J. Almquist

Donald J. Almquist served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Delco Electronics Corporation in Noblesville in Indiana. Mr. Almquist was also executive vice president of GM Hughes Electronics. He served at GM as General Manager of Delco Remy, General Manager of the then-Delco Electronics Division, and Vice President and General Manager of the Delco Electronics Corporation. Mr. Almquist served as Chairman of Delco Electronics Corporation in Noblesville in Indiana. He serves as the Trustee of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He served as Member of the Board of Directors of Hughes Aircraft Company. He served as a Member of numerous advisory boards, where he continues his support of education and economic development. Mr. Almquist received an honorary doctor of law degree from Indiana University and an honorary doctor of engineering degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Mr. Almquist studied at the General Motors Institute, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering.
