Rynthia Manning Rost is the Vice President of Public Affairs for GEICO. She is responsible for the company’s cause marketing and community affairs and has developed a comprehensive business plan designed to champion the company’s diversity programs. Rost established the GEICO Corporate Community Citizens program, where some 10,000 employees devote at least 8 to 12 hours a month on volunteer work.
Rost received a B.A. in sociology from Fisk University and a J.D. from Indiana University. After law school, she served as assistant general counsel for National Public Radio and doing appellate work for the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Rost also has sat on boards for a variety of organizations, including The Greater Washington Urban League, Mentors, Inc., and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Greater Washington.
