- IUAA President's Award - 2008
Ronald L. Lind earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the Kelley School of Business in 1961. An advocate and volunteer for IU in Boone County, specifically in the Lebanon, Indiana, area, Lind has been involved with the Herman B Wells Boone County Chapter of the IUAA since its inception in 1994.
He has served in numerous volunteer leadership roles with the chapter, including president, vice president, several committee chair positions, and currently as a chapter board member. During his volunteer tenure with the chapter, he organized IU events and activities, including community service projects, Indiana Day programs and annual alumni golf outings. Lind is also an active member of the IU Varsity Club, Woodburn Guild and Hoosiers for Higher Education.
Lind also belongs to the Lebanon Rotary Club, Community Foundation of Boone County, Boone County Chamber of Commerce, Boone County Economic Development Corp. and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
