IUAA President's Award - 1997

About Virginia Hanner-Storar

Ginny Hanner-Storar has been a longtime supporter of Indiana University since she graduated in the 1960s. She belongs to the Varsity Club, and has been heavily involved with then Johnson County Chapter of the IU Alumni Association for 25 years. Storar's generous donations to IU athletics brought her the IUAA President's Award in 1997.

She is retired from IU Health Methodist Hospital, where she worked as an administrative assistant for OR Services. Storar is a dedicated volunteer in the community, serving as the road manager and "Crew Mom" for the McAxe and the Firecrew, a group of firefighters who travel all over Indiana to teach fire safety to children.
