About Chris Dal Sasso

Chris was a football letterman in 1934, 1935 and 1936 and captain in 1936. He played tackle, recovering fumbles for touchdowns against Ohio University in 1934 and Michigan in 1936 and returned to IU in 1952 as assistant football coach and in 1957 became Assistant Adminstrator to Athletic Director. He was named Associate Athletic Director in 1975 and served until retirement in 1981. Chris served IU as athlete, coach and administrator for over 40 years and was a Clevenger Award winner and member of Indiana Football Hall of Fame.
