About Michelle Dekkers Maton

Michelle won cross country and track letters in 1988, 1989 and 1990 and won Big Ten cross country championships in 1988, 1989 and 1990. She was NCAA cross country champion in 1988, All-American in cross country in 1988, 1989 and 1990 and led teams to Big Ten cross country championships in 1989 and 1990. Michelle holds the best and second best times on IU's course in cross country. In track she won Big Ten indoor championship in 3000 in 1990. She still holds IU records both indoors and outdoors in 5,000 and 10,000.
