Naville attended Hanover College and graduated with departmental honors in political science from Indiana University Southeast in 1973. He received his doctor of jurisprudence degree from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1976. At that time he joined his father, Herbert F. Naville, in his law practice, which merged to become Lorch & Naville in 1987.
He has served as managing partner since 1992. A member of the bars admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Indiana and U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, Naville is also the U.S. Magistrate Judge for that district. He has served on many community boards, including Our Lady of Providence High School and St. Elizabeth’s Regional Maternity Center.
He has been on the IU Southeast Board of Advisors and is a member of the IU Southeast Alumni Association where he has served as president and past president.
