About James L. Dandurand

James L. Dandurand is the retired chairman of the board and president of Bank One in Merrillville, IN. As a member of the IU Northwest Board of Advisors, Dandurand was recognized for his work in raising scholarship money for the university, and for his support in numerous ways to both the board and the campus. As a community leader, Dandurand is involved with civic, religious and philanthropic organizations in the region, including the Legacy Foundation, where he is now recognized as Emeritus Director for its Board of Directors due to his service and participation in its establishment.

In 1998, he was honored for outstanding service to Indiana's First Congressional District, and was also presented with the Sagamore of the Wabash award.
