About Ronald Barnes
Ron Barnes is the president of the Clark County Board of Aviation Commissioners in Jeffersonville, IN. He is a certified accountant and has a bachelor's degree in business from IU - Southeast. He is a member of the Clark Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees, and serves on the boards of Republic Bank Board and Lincoln Heritage Council. Barnes is retired from the United States Army Reserves and was appointed Ambassador by the Chief of the Army Reserves in Washington, D.C.
Barnes was the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2001. In June 2020, Barnes received the IU Bicentennial Medal in recognition of his distinguished service to IU Southeast.
