Virginia Myers Mermel is the author of The Relationship of Educational, Experiential, and Practice Setting Characteristics to the Practice Behaviors of Nurses Prepared to Function in Expanded Roles, published in 1978. She is the 2000 recipient of the IU School of Nursing Special Recognition Award.
