About Carole Kenner

Carole Kenner, PhD, RNC-NIC, NNP, FAAN is the Dean of the School of Nursing and Associate Dean of Bouve College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University. She is also the Executive Director at Council of International Neonatal Nurses and the President at Consultants with Confidence, Inc. She specializes in the disciplines of neonatal, genetics, palliative care, nursing education, and policy in the nursing field. Prior to being appointed as Dean at Northeastern in 2010, Dr. Kenner was a dean at University of Oklahoma from 2004-2010, an associate dean at University of Illinois-Chicago from 2000-2004, and a professor at University of Cincinnati from 1990-1998.

Dr. Kenner holds a BSN from University of Cincinnati, a MSN, and a DNS from IUPUI. She received the Distinguished Alumni Award from IU School of Nursing in 2007.
