Nancy Roberts Rue, Ph.D., R.N., has a background in teaching in technical education and focuses her career on building educational materials. She holds degrees from St. Petersburg Junior College, Indiana University, and a doctorate in education from University of Florida. Dr. Rue graduated from Indiana University with a BSN in 1955 and a MSN in 1973.
Dr. Rue wrote the Handbook for Safe Food Service Management while serving as director of the Certified Professional Food Manager program at National Assessment Institute. She is also a co-author of The Essentials of Food Safety and Sanitation. Dr. Rue received a Distinguished Alumni Award from Indiana University School of Nursing in 2007.
