Dr. Amy McDonald is an assistant professor at Case Western University School of Medicine and a surgeon at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. Her medical interests include acute care surgery, general surgery, and trauma.
She attended Indiana University, graduating with a B.A. in Chemistry in 1992 and a M.D. in 1996. She received the IUAA President's Award in 2012. McDonald is also known for her athletic prowess, having been inducted into the Monroe County Sports Hall of Fame and the Bloomington City Golf Hall of Fame due to being a star athlete at Bloomington South High School and IU.
