About Russell H. Hart

Russell H. Hart is a retired partner of Stuart & Branigin, one of the oldest law firms in Indiana. Hart graduated from DePauw University in 1950 and earned his J.D. from Indiana University in 1956. After law school, Hart moved to Lafayette to begin his five-decades long career as a lawyer, including becoming senior counsel at Stuart and Branigin.

He has been an active member of the Indiana State Bar Association, which he served as president, treasurer, chairman of the Trial Lawyers Section, and as a member of the Board of Governors. Hart is also a former vice-president and secretary of the Indiana Bar Foundation. His work has been honored with numerous awards including the Sagamore of the Wabash.
