About Masuji Miyakawa

As a member of the class of 1905, Masuji Miyakawa became the first Asian-American graduate of the IU School of Law. But that was not his only first. After earning his LLB, Miyakawa, who became a naturalized citizen of the United States during law school, also became the first Japanese American to be admitted to the bar in the United States.
