About John Wild

John Wild is the board chairman of the National Literacy Foundation and the Planning and Zoning Commissioner of Longboat Key, FL. Prior to relocating to Florida, Wild was the mayor of Wildwood, MO and the CEO of the Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority which helped over half a million students with student loans for college.

Wild attended IUPUI and received a B.A. and a M.A. in political science and public affairs. He received the School of Liberal Arts Distinguished Alumni Award in 1998.
