Jesse Devitte is a Managing Director and co-founder of Borealis Ventures, a northern New England-focused early stage venture capital firm that is a member of the Village Ventures national network of early stage venture funds. He currently is a Director on the boards of Borealis portfolio companies Envista, Handmark, Newforma, and Vico, as well as an observer on the SpaceClaim board. He previously served as a Director on the boards of Borealis Fund I portfolio companies @Last Software (acquired by Google, Inc.) and Scribe Software (acquired by The Mustang Group).
Devitte helped launch the Entrepreneurs Foundation of NH to encourages entrepreneurs to give back to communities. He co-founded Green Launching Pad, which provides seed money and guidance to promising green tech companies.
Prior to co-founding Borealis Ventures, Jesse served as an executive in two public application software companies, Softdesk and Autodesk. Devitte served in the military as a member of the White House Communications Agency during the Ford and Carter administrations.
He graduated with distinction from the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Devitte currently serves on the Advisory Group for SPEA.
