Nancy L. Roser is a professor of language and literacy studies, the Flawn Professor of Early Childhood, and Distinguished Teaching Professor at the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to teaching college students, Roser was an elementary teacher. She now teaches undergraduate elementary reading and language arts, as well as graduate courses in teaching the English Language Arts and Children's Literature. Roser's research interests include close inspection of children's book conversations in classrooms.
She holds a B.A. from the University of Evansville, and a master's degree and a doctorate from Indiana University.
