About Ronda Talley

Ronda C. Talley is a professor of psychology at Western Kentucky University, which she joined in 2010. Previously, Talley was an associate director and scientist at the Centers for Disease Control, the executive director of the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving, the assistant executive director for American Psychological Association, and the director of Jefferson County Schools in Louisville.

Talley holds several degrees, including a B.S. from Western Kentucky University (1973), MEd. and Ed.S. from University of Louisville (1973-74), Ph.D. from Indiana University (1979), and a M.P.H. from the Johns Hopkins University (1997). Talley received the IU School of Education Distinguished Alumni Award in 1996.
