Harry Davidson was the former superintendent of Battle Creek Public Schools (1954-1972), founder and superintendent of Battle Creek Community College (1956-1959) and Kellogg Community College (1959-1970) in Michigan. He also co-founded the Battle Creek Community Foundation in 1974 and served as its president.
At Kellogg Community College, the Harry R. Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center is named in his honor. He graduated from Indiana University with a master's degree in 1937 and received the School of Education Distinguished Alumni Award in 1978.
