About Jorge C. Bocobo

Jorge Cleofas Bocobo, LLB 1907 and Honorary Doctorate in 1951, was one of the first Philippine students sent in 1903 by the government of the Philippine Islands to study in the United States. H was professor and dean of the School of Law and later served as president of the University of the Philippines. He served as a member of the Cabinet of President Quezon 1939-41 and Justice of the Supreme Court of Philippines 1942-44.
