About Claire Houterman

Claire Houterman graduated from Indiana University with majors in Biology and Spanish. Houterman was engaged on campus as the Director of Outreach for the Read Residence Hall as well as the President of the Residence Halls Association from 2013-2014. Houterman was also a member of the Board of Aeons, a student advisory group to the IU President.

Houterman was involved with the Bloomington community as a crisis line intern. While an undergraduate, Houterman worked as an Assistant and Phlebotomist at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center. Following graduation, Houterman enrolled in the Master's in Health Policy program at George Washington University and became a Health Policy intern for the U.S. Senate.
