Ronald Cram earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from the IU School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences in 1989. His career in physical therapy began as a staff therapist at an Indianapolis hospital. He was given additional responsibility quickly and ultimately became the hospital's Director of Therapy Services overseeing physical, occupational and speech therapy services for the hospital at the age of 22. Cram left the hospital setting to oversee clinical development of Tx:Team, a local physical therapy practice. Once again, he quickly moved through the company, receiving positions as Director of Rehab Services, Vice President of Operations, and finally President in 1999. In 2006, he launched his own firm, Rehab Strategies, and in 2010 he started a second firm called Staffing Strategies. Both practices together employ more than 60 therapists. In late 2012, He opened Treatment Strategies, a therapy equipment firm.
Cram is the chairperson of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Dean’s Advisory Board and has spearheaded the Corporate Partners’ Program, which brings together the corporate and academic communities for collaborative curricular evaluation and student scholarship support. In addition, he made a gift commitment in early 2013 to endow a scholarship at the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences.
