Mary Beth Stull graduated from Indiana University's School of Nursing in 1974 with a B.S. in Nursing. She went on to receive a M.S. in Nursing from IU in 1975, with a split major in Administration and Obstetrical/Gynecological Nursing. Following her Master's degree, Stull began what would be a 31-year career with Eli Lilly and Company. She started as a Clinical Research Nurse, but quickly moved through to company into various managerial roles. Over her career with Lilly, Stull held positions as the Department Head of the Oncology Therapeutic Area, as a manager in Clinical Development, and as a senior manager in three different departments. In 2007, Stull left Lilly and in 2008 accepted a position as the Director of Expert Development at YourEncore. She left that position in 2011 to become the business owner of ClinPro, LLC.
Stull has been an active IU alumna. She is a member of the IU Media Arts and Sciences Advisory Board and gives generous financial gifts to IU. She also helps fund the Tyler R. Memorial Scholarship, which is given to senior students in the School of Informatics majoring in Media Arts and Sciences who demonstrate significant talent and future career potential in the area of graphic or sound design.
