About Judge's BBQ

Judge's Barb-B-Que is one of Indianapolis' most highly regarded barbecue eateries, earning TheIndyChannel.com A-List honors three straight years, 2007-09. Owned by Judge Smith, the restaurant received a 2010 IUPUI Spirit of Philanthropy Award in recognition of his contributions to the IUPUI Department of Athletics. Judge's has been feeding Jaguars student-athletes since the restaurant opened on Michigan Street just west of campus.

Annually, Judge provides the meal at the Mike Carroll Golf Outing, which is the top annual fundraiser for the athletics department. Additionally, when he is not at his restaurant, he can often be found at IUPUI athletic events, supporting the student-athletes to whom he provides food.
