About John H. Hays

John H Hayes graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI in 1976. He then joined Abel Construction in Louisville, KY in 1979. Hays stayed with the company, eventually becoming its president.

Hays has been a longtime philanthropist through both individual and corporate support, giving back to his community through nearly 30 charitable organizations. His generosity extends to higher education and has had a lasting impact on many facets of the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology. Whether for students, faculty programs, or facilities, his support enables a diverse and deserving population in pursuit of academic knowledge.
