Since that time, his career has spanned five decades with Sharpnack Bigley Stroh & Washburn and included service to the American, Indiana State, and Bartholomew County bar associations, as well as the IU School of Law Alumni Association. He and his wife, Lynn, are visible and valuable members of the Columbus community, and Mr. Bigley has served on the boards of the Heritage Fund, Hospice, Chamber of Commerce, and Driftwood Valley Arts Council, among others.
By 2008, Mr. Bigley had served as a member of the IUPUC's Board of Advisors for seven years. As a member, he was a valued advocate for the university and a trusted advisor for the campus.
