The Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital was a lead corporate sponsor of the Academic Commons, a unique space for collaborative learning in the IUPUI University Library.
The Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital, a 42-bed inpatient facility, is the most technologically advanced facility
available for orthopaedic care in the Midwest. The hospital focuses on musculoskeletal care and complex surgical
procedures, including total joint (hip and knee) and spinal operations. The Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital was built
when OrthoIndy physicians saw an increasing need to provide specialized orthopaedic care in a patient-focused
environment. Designed by orthopaedic surgeons and healthcare architects, the Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital opened in March 2005 and was built to provide the best musculoskeletal care possible.
