Professor Kay Wilding of the Berufsakademie Mannheim, Germany has served as the coordinator of the internship exchange program between IUPUI and the Berufsakademie Mannheim. More than half of the IUPUI students participating in this program are from the School of Engineering and Technology. Professor Wilding extends the hand of international friendship by hosting a number of networking and social events for students during their stay.
In addition to assisting IUPUI internship exchange students, Professor Wilding was instrumental in helping the school establish its first study abroad course, GO GREEN (Green Organizations: Global Responsibility for Economic and Environmental Necessity). Six years later, Professor Wilding still is contributing to the GO GREEN course and our students’ cultural and international exchange. The School of Engineering and Technology salutes an international colleague and friend who continues to support us in this important endeavor.
