Lisa Schoedel is a patent attorney whose practice consists of patent prosecution in various areas of electrical engineering, including circuits, sensors, semiconductor processing, microelectromechanical systems, telecommunications, speech recognition, and software. She holds two engineering degrees from Washington University in St. Louis and a law degree from DePaul University. Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Schoedel worked as an electronics engineer for McDonnell Douglas Corporation (now The Boeing Company) and as an environmental engineer for Shell Oil Company. She later worked at a patent boutique law firm and as in-house patent counsel for NAVTEQ North America, LLC (now Nokia).
She currently sits as Chair of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Women in Engineering Chicago Chapter.
