About Engledow Group

Engledow is one of Central Indiana’s biggest landscape design and maintenance firms. The company started in 1932, when B.T. Engledow purchased a used truck for $50 and launched a landscaping company, which he called Engledow Tree and Landscape Service. Just two years later, he opened Engledow's Seed Store at the corner of 38th and Illinois. Now, the company provides Central Indiana businesses and residents with landscaping, interior plants, landscape design, and more.

Engledow Group is committed to community service and strives to give back to the Indianapolis and surrounding communities in multiple ways. The company has donated plants to various events, planned and produced fundraisers for community organizations at a reduced cost, or provided flowers in prominent settings free of charge. Individual employees of the company are encouraged to be active in the community, serve on boards, and be involved with philanthropic organizations throughout Central Indiana. In this capacity, Engledow has been a longtime benefactor of the Herron School of Art and Design.
