About Lorraine Borkowski

Lorraine Borkowski grew up in New Bedford, Massachusetts. She attended Valparaiso University with her high school sweetheart, John. After John's graduation, Borkowski moved with him to finish her B.A. in Home Economics at Indiana University, Bloomington. She went on to receive a Masters in Special Education from Butler University in 1975.

The Borkowskis have dedicated decades of service to the School of Dentistry, the Indiana Dental Association, and to the John F. Johnston Society, a prosthodontics fraternity. The couple’s philanthropic spirit towards IUSD has been both consistent and generous. Through planned and annual gifts, the Borkowskis have supported IUSD faculty development funds.
