About John W. Wynne

John W. Wynne retired in 1998 as Chairman of the Board of Duke Weeks Realty Corporation. Prior to this position, he served as the President of Duke Associates (1986-1993). His law career began in 1963 with the law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans in Indianapolis. He also served on the Board of Directors of First National Bank.

Wynne is an alumnus of the United States Naval Academy, B.S., 1955, and he received his J.D. in 1963 from the Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He was very supportive of his alma mater, serving for many years on the school's Board of Visitors and was a member of the Maennerchor Society. Wynne and his wife, Barbara, made outstanding financial commitments to the school, including one in support of Inlow Hall when it was being built in the early 2000s. The Courtroom is named after them in recognition of their contribution.
