Mary Dankoski is a researcher who specializes in behavioral science. In 2014, she became the Executive Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Professional Development at the IU School of Medicine. Dankoski has played a role in the Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development since 2006, serving first as an assistant dean and then as associate dean in 2012. She also serves as the Vice Chair for Faculty and Academic Affairs and holds a faculty appointment in the Department of Family Medicine.
Dankoski has been a chair for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, president of the Indiana Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, a fellow at the Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Acameic Medicine Program for Women, and a member of the Association of American Medical Colleges. She has received numerous awards for her achievements, including the Outstanding Woman Leader Award from the Veteran Category IUPUI Office for Women and a Women in Medicine Leadership Award from the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Dankoski graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She completed her doctorate in Child Development and Family Studies at Purdue University.
