About Kathi Postlethwait

Kathi Postlethwait is known as a friend and supporter of many organizations in Indianapolis. She and her husband, Bob, have given generously to many causes. At IU, Postlethwait was a driving force in the creation of the Shared Heritage Scholarship program at the Herron School of Art. The program promotes a comprehensive mentoring program and scholarships for minority students at Herron. She and her husband are members of Friends of Herron.

Postlethwait received a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Purdue University. After graduating, she accepted a job from Eli Lilly and Company as an analytic chemist.
