Howard F. Creveling made a large impact on the IUPUI School of Science when he donated money to create a scholarship. In 2002, the retired development engineer endowed the Elizabeth Steele Creveling Scholarship in memory of his wife, Liz. The scholarship is awarded annually to an outstanding master’s or doctoral student in the Department of Biology. For these students, the scholarship makes the difference between an average education and a competitive degree. For the Creveling Family, the scholarship affirms life and leaves a lasting memory. Because he chose the School of Science as a backdrop in which to remember Liz, Howard ensures that IUPUI biology students receive the highest quality learning experiences.
