About Harold Force

Harold Force is the president and chief executive officer of Force Construction Co., Inc./executive vice president of Force Design, Inc. He joined the company full time in 1974 after completing his studies at Purdue University (M.S. and B.S. in engineering) and was named president of Force Construction in 1980. Force has been a practicing civil engineer for 35 years.

Force has helped develop the IU-PU Columbus campus through his contributions, leadership and advocacy. While serving on the campus’ board of advisers, he has helped recruit new members and has supported development efforts.
