About Thelma Walters

Thelma Walters, a graduate of the School of Nursing Class of 1938, established scholarships at both the IU School of Nursing and the IU School of Medicine in honor of her husband, Charles E. Walters, MD, a graduate of the School of Medicine, Class of 1937. The Charles E. & Thelma Walters Scholarship is to assist nursing students who are graduate of a high school in Indiana.
