About Delores J. Coleman

Delores Coleman has been involved with the IUPUI School of Physical Education and Tourism Management (PETM) since she attended the school's predecessor institution, Normal College, for two years of her undergraduate education. She completed her education at Butler University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Coleman came back to the Indiana University, where she earned an M.A. degree in Library Science.

Coleman remained connected to IUPUI through Camp Brosius, where she spent a number of her summers. Her connection to and fond memories of the school led to her to make generous contributions to PETM when she saw the rising costs of college tuition. In order to help students pay for their education, Coleman is leaving a residual portion of her estate to the school through a bequest.
