About USA Group Foundation

The USA Group Foundation is now known as the Lumina Foundation. The USA Group Foundation had been the non-profit arm of the nation's largest private guarantor and administrator of educational loans, before the parent company of both, USA Group Inc., sold most of its assets to Sallie Mae in mid-2000. The USA Group Foundation was renamed Lumina in early 2001.
