About James Leeds

James Leeds was an optometrist who practiced for over 45 years before his death. He was a lifelong collector of books relating to optometry. In 1992, he and his wife, Carolyn, donated the 3,600 collection to the IU Optometry Library in memory of their son Kenneth, who graduated from the IU School of Optometry in 1979.
