About Debra L. McClurg

Debra McClurg began her basketball career before attending Indiana University at Wes-Del High School, scoring 1,548 career points. She earned 13 varsity letters and was an Indiana Basketball All-Star and nine school records upon her High School graduation.

Deb then came to Indiana University where she scored 758 points and 421 rebounds over 4 seasons with the Hoosiers. This at the time 5th All-Time for IU Women’s Basketball Program history. Her junior year season, Deb helped the Hoosiers reach the Sweet Sixteen in the 1983 NCAA Tournament and won the Big Ten also in 1983.
