About Erin Babinsky

Erin Babinsky came to IU as a post-doctoral fellow in the IU School of Optometry in 2010 and continued her work until 2014. In 2016, she came back to the school to accept the role of research scientist where she served until 2017. Babinsky is currently a data scientist and senior manager of data science at Capital One Financial Corporation in the Washington D.C. metro area. Babinsky joined Capital One in 2018 as a manager of data science and was appointed to senior manager in 2019. She received a B.A. in Brain and Cognitive Science from the University of Rochester in 2006 and a D.Phil. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford in 2010. Babinsky received a Fulbright Award in 2014 to study the relationship between reflexive eye movements and visual perception at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain.
