- Presidents Circle Laurel Pin - 2016
- Founder
Janie K. Maurer is the wife of Michael “Mickey” Maurer. Together, they have provided incredible support to Indiana University, most notably to the Maurer School of Law – which is named after Janie’s husband. The Maurer’s have created scholarships and even established the Val Nolan Endowed Chair at the School of Law, named after Mickey’s favorite professor. The School of Law’s renaming is in recognition of the Maurer’s longtime support for the school and their $35 million gift for law student scholarships.
In 2016, Janie was presented the Presidents Circle Laurel Pin at the Founder level.
