About C. Diane Matt

C. Diane Matt is the executive director and CEO of WEPAN, Women in Engineering ProActive Network, the nation's foremost organization dedicated to advancing cultures of inclusion and diversity in engineering higher education and workplaces. Matt brings a deep understanding of the urgency of advancing gender equality in engineering and other STEM fields. She knows the personal and institutional barriers that must be addressed, has cutting-edge insights in the successful precedents in bellwether universities and corporations, and is connected to networks of professionals who are in the forefront of this effort.

Matt earned a B.A. in geology from Indiana University and an M.S. in geology from the University of Calgary.
