About John Spengler

John Spengler (Ph.D. '99) is the department head and professor in the Department of Health Promotion and Community Health Sciences at Texas A&M University. Spengler received the W.W. Patty Distinguished Alumni Award, which is the oldest and most prestigious alumni recognition award bestowed by the School of Public Health. It is given to a graduate who has demonstrated outstanding personal and professional achievement in their career.
