About Shree Dhawale

Dr. Dhawale's received degrees from the University of Nagpur, India (B.Sc., 1963) the University of Saugor, India (M.Sc., 1965) and Ohio State University (M.S., 1981; PhD, 1984)

She began teaching biology in 1989. Her area of expertise includes molecular and biochemical genetics, effects of herbal extracts on cancer cells, studies on antibiotic resistant isolates from Indiana fish, and biodegradation of environmental pollutants. Dhawale served as Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at IPFW and now holds Emeritus status.
