Milon Nag is Chairman and Managing Director of K. K. Nag Pvt. Ltd., headquartered in Pune, India. Its main line of business is Expanded Polystyrene molded packaging and components, which it manufactures at factories in Pune (at two locations), Puducherry and Chennai. It was the first to introduce Expanded Polypropylene in India and also processes other foamed plastics. K. K. Nag Pvt. Ltd. has been involved with sanitation as a Corporate Social Responsibility activity since the turn of the century, leading to its commercial development of latrine slabs that are used by most of the world's leading international aid agencies to quickly set up toilets in emergencies. Prior to his current positions, Milon served K. K. Nag Pvt. Ltd. as Executive Director from 1988 to 1994 and joined the company in 1987 as Vice President-Marketing. He previously worked for Price Waterhouse in the U.S. as a Management Consultant.
Milon is an active Member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), India's premier business association; Co-Chair of CII's National Task Force on the Ease of Doing Business; and a Member of the CII National Council for 2017-18. In 2016-17, he was Co-Chair of CII's National Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises (MSME) Council and was a Member of the CII National Council. He has held several other offices at CII, including Chairman, CII Pune Zonal Council (2000-02), and has been a Member of the CII Western Regional Council since 2000. He was the Chairman of the CII Maharashtra State Council for 2010-11 and Chairman of the MSME Sub-Committee for the CII Western Region for 2011-12. He serves on the Governing Councils of the Centre For Learning Resources and the KEM Hospital Society and is a Trustee of the Nag Foundation, a charitable trust set up by K. K. Nag Pvt. Ltd.
Milon earned both a BS degree in Finance with Honors and Highest Distinction in 1984 and an MBA degree in Finance in 1985 from the Kelley School. He has been a member of its Dean's Council since 2005 and its Global Dean's Council since its inception in 2015.
