About Bruce and Sandra Gregory

Zachary Gregory, the son of Bruce and Sandra Gregory, completed the IU Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2010. Beloved by his peers, his instructors, and the faculty and staff of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Zach was chosen by his classmates to speak at their commencement. Sadly, Zachary died in 2011 while running the Chicago Half Marathon.

After Zachary's death, his parents, friends, faculty and alumni of the DPT program, endowed a scholarship at the school in his memory. The Zachary H. Gregory Emerging Leadership Scholarship continues to receive overwhelming community and alumni support.

In Zachary's honor, Bruce and Sandra have supported the Physical Therapy Fundraising Committee in events to raise awareness of the scholarship. Each year, they attend the annual Student and Donor Recognition Event and present the award to DPT students who demonstrate academic and professional leadership.
